March is a month of new beginnings, and may I say this month has gone by way too fast for me, but I have started working with a new non-profit organization called Win Place Home. I will be volunteering with my friend almost every weekend when I am off work. I also started seeking out organizations that need a social media and marketing manager. Keep our fingers crossed that it works out for me.
The puppies that I started fostering with their mama are so big now! They are now running around and playing, the three out of the four have the most hyper and loving personalities. The one is more laid back and to himself sometimes. He likes attention but can have a bit of an attitude. This month I also ordered ten new baby chicks so I can increase the egg production with my chickens. I have people wanting to buy my eggs so four hens were just not enough. I felt so bad for the chicks because they came from Minnesota and had to be on an airplane to get delivered here to California. When I walked into the post office it was so quiet and all you could hear was the chicks going off with how upset they were. I made my friend open the box to make sure there were no dead baby chicks because I would have been traumatized seeing that.
Hopefully soon this rain here in California will finally end! I appreciate we are finally out of the drought but… can it stop now? I would like to work with my horses thank you and my dogs are dying of not being able to go out for walks and having their dog run flooded and muddy to the point the dogs refuse to go to the bathroom outside in the dog run. And to be real for a moment the constant mud being tracked into the house is driving me nuts. I resolved the shedding problem by taking two of the dogs for a bath and oh man one of them it was literally snowing fur as I was DE shedding his coat. The couple next to me washing their dog, the girl friend had her hoody on because of the snowing fur my dog managed to produce from needing to shed so bad. It was like taking an entire layer of dog off of him.
Ugh I am praying April is full of sunshine and no rain.
XOXO
