Hey everyone! 🌟 I hope you’re all reveling in the joyous aftermath of Easter and still smiling at the mischief of April Fool’s Day!

Exciting News Alert! 🎉 I’ve embarked on a new journey after waving goodbye to my restaurant job of over two years. Now, I’m on the hunt for a new adventure that’ll not only keep the lights on but also pave the way for the next big step with my boyfriend. We’re talking about leveling up our relationship and for that, financial stability is key!

Festival Vibes & Goodbyes: Chris and I had an unforgettable time at Beyond Wonderland 2024 at the NOS Events Center. The energy was infectious, but it’s with a heavy heart that I say it might have been my last dance with Insomniac festivals. Despite the fantastical setting, the event took a turn towards the commercial, doubling drink prices and offering less-than-stellar service, even in the VIP area. The bartenders stuck to the script, pouring no more than what was paid for, which felt a tad stingy for a VIP experience.

Beauty Bar Blues: The VIP beauty bar, once a haven for festival glam, has lost its sparkle. Gone are the days of intricate braid extensions; this year, after a two-hour wait, I was offered a simple ponytail with a braid – something I could’ve easily done myself. It’s disheartening to see the beauty bar, once a highlight of the VIP area, reduced to a premium-priced service offering less than before.

Hookah Hiccups: The hookah lounges, a much-anticipated feature, ran out of hookah well before the night was over. In the past, VIP areas would be clouded with aromatic smoke all night long, but this year, the supply didn’t last, dimming the magic of the experience.

A Call for PLUR: Pasquale, if you’re listening, it feels like the focus has shifted from the community to the cash. The principles of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect (PLUR) seem to have taken a backseat, and it’s left many of us longing for the old days.

Dreaming Big: But don’t worry, the dream isn’t over! I’m channeling my passion into creating my own festivals, ones that resonate with the true spirit of rave culture and music. And guess what? I’m eyeing a massive 50-acre property to make this dream a reality.

Equestrian Excitement: In other thrilling news, one of our horses has made a full recovery from an old hoof injury! It’s a huge milestone, and he’s now ready to start training for riding. I’ll be taking the reins on this one, drawing from my childhood experiences training horses in Coarsegold. Nestled in the rolling hills near Yosemite, I learned the delicate dance of trust and training with project horses. Those early days of guiding young horses through their paces, instilling discipline while nurturing their spirit, have prepared me for this moment. It’s a daunting task, but I’m ready for the challenge.

Stay tuned for more updates – the journey is just getting started, and I can’t wait to share it with you all! 💖
